If you've ever looked into the engine bay of an LT1 or LS1 you'll notice that the damn thing recesses WAY back into the passenger compartment. Try to change the last two sparkplugs and it's pure hell! I can't imagine that thing fitting into a Z...not unless you jammed it WAY forward and had almost no room for a radiator/fan or anything. Even then, I'd think not. I haven't seen anyone try a V8 in a Z32 without tubing the chassis and making an all out race car. Even then, it costs bank and is not worth it to 99.9% of the people out there.
